It started out as a regular day when all phones, radios, and televisions broadcast the urgent message that everyone should get to the public school to receive disastrous news and further instructions.  It is there you learn the world as you knew it has changed.
 
Things are out of control. Aliens might attack. Packs of wild animals are roaming the area. You even hear a rumor the science lab at the university created a zombie.
 
You now find yourself in a desperate race against other players and unimaginable events to gather the equipment you need to survive in this new world, and find a shelter capable of supporting you through the coming calamities.
 
You’ll have to manage your food and water as you travel. Watch your health or you’ll have to start the game over. Will you hurry to the prepper shop to get gear you can use to hunt, fish, and just plain survive?  Will you raid the local market or scavenge through (hopefully) abandoned homes to replenish your supplies?  Most importantly: Are you prepared to have fun?

square miles of a town and its surrounding environment, this allows for the one game board to be used for many different games (like how you can
use a checkerboard to also play chess, or a deck of cards to play almost innumerable card games).
